What
is pearl?
Sand
or another small particle may be located in a shell of an oyster by a coincidence. Not
being able to throw that particle out, the oyster covers around the particle
with a secretion which will be much solid in the following while.
Pearl
is a product of nature. But less existence of pearls on earth and the creative
spirit of human being , both supported the birth of cultivated pearl. Thus
, without a coincidence , it could be possible to produce pearls by some
special techniques which let particles be located in a shell of an oyster.
Quality
of a pearl
Pearls
have various qualifications which are the results of being natural. It is
so hard to classify them because they are not such stones shaped by human
being.Pearls are precious and peculiar to themselves.
Dimension
of a pearl determines the price of the pearl mostly.Dimension has a proportion
to the particle located in the shell.Due to less thickness of the cover of
the pearl , some pearls are not precious..The outer cover's thickness can
only be measured by an expert.
Most
pearls on earth displays a circular shape even they are not circular.Cultivated
pearls are not entirely circular as well.
There
exists pearls with different colors. Most common colors are white , pink ,
silver , cream , gold and black. Besides , cultivated pearls may have a blue/green
layered cover. Some cultivated pearls could be created by special techniques
which let them have various colors of the rainbow.
Cultivated
pearls reflects the light with their smooth cover. And this completes their
mysterious beauty.
As
every natural product , cultivated pearls may have a roughness on their surface. But
a pearl which has a high quality , should not have big holes and corrupted
points on its surface.
